Creating a strong brand identity for I-Construct

I-Construct is run by the Haven Gateway Partnership and supports SMEs to innovate and grow within the construction sector using industry mentoring, networking opportunities and EDRF grant funding. In 2020, Aphra was awarded a two-year contract with I-Construct to work as their chosen design and communications agency. As part of this work, we developed the company’s communications strategy, developed the I-Construct brand, designed a website, and created brand-consistent campaign assets including social media posts, video and a presentation deck.








The Brand
I-Construct’s master logo was designed to reflect the company’s core values of being innovative, forward-thinking collaborators who make connections within the construction industry. Throughout the brand we used pattern as a prominent graphical element to represent innovation and collaboration as part of the company. We also created a set of icons and bespoke image style guidelines to be used throughout company collateral and ensure brand consistency.
The Expertise
Aphra was well suited to work with I-Construct due to our extensive construction marketing background and our involvement with various capital works projects in the area. We have worked with local contractors including Phelan Construction, Amplis Construction, Beardwell Construction, Hutton Construction and Morgan Sindall’s Chelmsford division, all of which gave us greater insight and understanding when developing I-Construct’s strategy and branding.
